Counselling Services

I provide individual therapy sessions to support clients in exploring their emotions, thoughts, and behaviours in a safe and non-judgmental space. My approach focuses on empowering individuals to develop self-awareness and coping strategies for personal growth. I use modalities of dialectical behaviour therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness practices, and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) in my therapy.

Many people feel marginalized in society, especially when it comes to navigating society's expectations and norms. At times, it may feel like you don't quite fit in or belong. But I am here to  help you explore the nuances of privilege in society. By unpacking how size, race, gender, and ability intersect, we can gain a better understanding of how these factors impact our daily lives. This can lead to a better understanding of self, and allow us to become more intentional about our thoughts and actions.

Parenting can be challenging, but you don't have to do it alone. My goal is to support you in helping your children develop and grow into the amazing individuals you know they can be. I offer a nonjudgmental atmosphere and meet you where you're at in your parenting journey. We will collaborate to find the parenting strategies that work best for your family.

Children can face emotional and behavioral challenges just like adults. I offer play and art-based therapy to help children express themselves and work through their struggles in a safe and supportive environment. My goal is to help children understand what is going on for them. I help them find strategies for emotion regulation so they can thrive. I also offer psychoeducational assessments for children.

Do you have questions about how your brain works or how you or your child is functioning in the world? An assessment might be a way to  help you better understand yourself or your child. Assessments can offer insights on ways to be more effective at school, at work, or in social situations. Contact us if you would like to learn more about this process to see if it is a fit for you.
